under par museum experience
been to first museum in nyc bringing a rather unsatisfactory experience: the museum of the city of new york. only exhibition of value was on eero saarinen (architect who designed the twa terminal at jfk and the s:t louis gateway arch), but for reasons unknown the curator has made sure every descriptive text hails saarinen as some sort of demi god, i.e. unreadable. other exhibitions included...

insanity in the motherland: we now have wolf hunt again. our current government fulfilled their promises from the 2006 election campaign, with the effect that 10% of the wolf population (estimated by the environmental protection agency to be between 182 and 217 animals last winter) is to be murdered. today was the first day, 22 wolves met their end.
